Dfsk Overview
Acquiring the Greenfield status under the Automotive Development Policy 2016-21, the Regal Automobile Industries Limited (RAIL) partnered with Dongfeng Sakon (DFSK) of China and laid the foundation of a brand named Prince. DFSK is a Chinese company which is a joint venture of two giants - Chongqing Sokon and Dongfeng. DFSK is a recognized name in the automobile industry and it produces a wide range of vehicles.
In Pakistan, the partnership between DFSK and RAIL led to the assembling and selling of vehicles under the brand name Prince.
Prince debuted in Pakistan in 2020 with a 800cc hatchback called the Prince Pearl. The car has received good feedback from the market which made it a success.
