Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable WordPress
Developer to join our team on-site at our Johar Mor office in Karachi. This is a night shift role, ideal for individuals who are comfortable working with international clients and fast-paced project environments.
The ideal candidate should not only be skilled in WordPress development but also have a strong sense of design capable of building visually appealing, modern websites from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Design website layouts, Ul sections, and pages from scratch
• Work with themes, plugins, and page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc. )
• Convert design ideas into fully functional websites
• Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness
• Handle website updates, bug fixes, and troubleshooting
• Implement basic SEO practices (on-page optimization, plugins like Yoast)
• Collaborate with team members including designers and project managers
• Build custom solutions when required (basic PHP, HTML, CSS, JS)
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Basic to intermediate experience with WordPress development
• Strong eye for design and layout structuring
• Ability to design clean, modern, and user-friendly websites
• Working knowledge of:
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript (basic level)
• PHP (basic level preferred)
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor
• Understanding of hosting, domains, and cPanel
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues independently
• Good communication and time management skills
Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience with custom WordPress development
• Ability to handle small custom projects outside WordPress if needed
• Experience with website migration and backups
• Basic understanding of SEO and performance optimization
Work Environment
• On-site role based in Johar Mor, Karachi
• Night shift (9:00pm - 6:00am)
