Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled WordPress Website Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in building responsive, high-performance WordPress websites. You must be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and experienced in customizing themes, plugins, and handling website security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins as per client requirements
Create and manage forms using WP Forms or similar plugins
Ensure website security, backup, and performance optimization
Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Perform regular updates to website content and software (themes, plugins, core)
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to layout, plugins, or speed
Collaborate with the content, design, and SEO teams to implement changes and updates
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Experience in customizing and developing WordPress themes and plugins
Familiarity with WP Forms and other popular WordPress plugins
Basic understanding of website security, SSL, and backup procedures
Ability to manage content updates and basic on-page SEO tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL
Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders
Understanding of website hosting, domains, and FTP
Experience with Git or version control systems
