We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The role primarily involves editing simple picture story videos by combining still images, background music, voiceovers, and transitions into engaging and visually appealing content.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong storytelling skills, a good sense of pacing, and an eye for aesthetics, who can turn static images into captivating video stories.
Responsibilities
Edit and assemble still images into cohesive picture story videos.
Add background music, voiceovers, sound effects, and text overlays when required.
Apply smooth transitions, basic motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
Ensure videos are polished, engaging, and aligned with the intended style and tone.
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver on deadlines.
Export videos in required formats and optimize for different platforms YouTube
Requirements
Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required).
Proficiency in editing software CapCut.
Must own a laptop/computer capable of handling video editing smoothly.
Ability to synchronize visuals with audio effectively.
Basic knowledge of aspect ratios, resolutions, and social media formatting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Creativity and storytelling sense.
Nice-to-Have
Experience with motion graphics and simple animations.
Familiarity with creating content for social media platforms.
Understanding of trending video styles and formats.
