## Job Overview
We are looking for a **creative and skilled Video Editor** to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media content, advertising creatives, and short-form videos that capture attention and drive engagement.
You will work closely with our marketing and creative teams to transform raw footage, images, and concepts into engaging videos for platforms such as **Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital channels. **
## Key Responsibilities
* Edit engaging videos for social media and digital advertising campaigns.
* Create short-form videos, Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and ad creatives.
* Edit videos according to brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and target audiences.
* Add transitions, captions, text animations, sound effects, music, and visual effects where appropriate.
* Create attention-grabbing hooks and engaging video openings.
* Repurpose existing content into multiple video formats and sizes.
* Create video creatives for Meta Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, and other platforms.
* Work with designers and marketing team members to develop creative concepts.
* Select suitable footage, music, graphics, and visual elements to improve video performance.
* Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms and devices.
* Maintain consistency in branding, quality, and visual style.
* Stay updated with current video editing trends, social media trends, and advertising creative best practices.
## Requirements
* Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of video editing software such as **Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve**.
* Good understanding of short-form content and social media video trends.
* Strong sense of timing, storytelling, composition, and visual creativity.
* Knowledge of video formats and specifications for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
* Ability to create videos that are visually attractive and designed to capture attention.
* Good communication and time-management skills.
* Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* A strong portfolio demonstrating your video editing skills is required.
## Preferred Skills
* Experience creating **Meta/Facebook and Instagram ad creatives**.
* Experience with motion graphics and text animation.
* Basic knowledge of digital marketing and advertising.
* Understanding of video hooks, CTAs, and conversion-focused creative.
* Experience editing promotional videos for local businesses or service-based businesses.
