Job Qualifications
bachelor's degree or above, major in computer-related fields (Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, etc. ) is preferred; 1-5 years of relevant testing experience (fresh graduates are acceptable for junior positions, excellent fresh graduates can be relaxed to college degree)
Language Ability: Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing (essential, as the main language for communication between Chinese and Pakistani teams); native Urdu speakers are preferred; those with basic Chinese communication skills are preferred (able to simply communicate work needs and understand basic Chinese instructions).
Possess strong proactive communication awareness and communication skills, take the initiative to connect with the Chinese team, be good at expressing problems and feedback needs, be able to efficiently resolve differences in cross-team communication, and have good cross-cultural and cross-time zone collaboration awareness.
Possess good logical thinking ability, problem analysis ability and execution ability, be rigorous and careful in work, have a strong sense of responsibility, be able to work under certain pressure, take the initiative to undertake work tasks, and actively cooperate with the team to achieve goals.
Love testing work, have high requirements for product quality, have strong learning ability, be able to quickly adapt to the testing needs of new products and technologies, take the initiative to learn cross-team collaboration skills, and adapt to the work rhythm of the Chinese team.
Professional Requirements
Testing Expertise: Strong knowledge of various testing types (manual, automated, regression, functional, performance, etc. ).
Programming Knowledge: Understanding of programming/scripting languages (e. g. , Python, Java, JavaScript) to develop automated tests.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret software requirements and translate them into actionable test cases.
Attention to Detail: Precision in identifying and documenting software issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve software defects.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing technologies and project needs.
Other Requirements
Able to work overtime periodically (during product launch and version iteration), obey work arrangements, able to flexibly adjust working hours, and cooperate with the working time zone of the Chinese team
Preferred Qualifications
1 year or more of testing experience collaborating with Chinese teams, familiar with cross-time zone communication skills is preferred.
Possess basic Chinese communication skills, able to understand Chinese requirement documents and simple instructions is preferred.
Possession of relevant software testing certificates (such as ISTQB) and English proficiency certificates (such as IELTS, TOEFL) is preferred.
Fluent in both Urdu and English, able to independently complete the writing of bilingual test documents, and possess proactive communication awareness and ability is preferred.
