SolidWorks / AutoCAD Draftsman – Sheet Metal Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced SolidWorks / AutoCAD Draftsman to join our sheet metal manufacturing facility in Karachi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate 2D manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare sheet metal designs, flat patterns and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare DXF/DWG files for laser cutting and manufacturing.
- Understand dimensions, tolerances, bend allowances and fabrication requirements.
- Prepare BOMs and production-related drawings.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings are practical and manufacturing-ready.
Requirements:
- Good command of SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Previous experience in sheet metal / fabrication / manufacturing will be highly preferred.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and measurements.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Practical manufacturing knowledge will be considered a strong advantage.
