First off, the packaging is first class! You might think, who cares right? But, think about it. If the company doesn't spend good money on packaging, what do you think the quality of the drone will be like? I got nervous when I saw the manual was very thin. However, it was all in English (for me) and very well written! It was very descriptive - both pictorially and in words. Although the manual states that this drone is meant for someone with flying experience, I would say that anyone that can read and follow directions will be able to operate this drone. I LOVE the folding design! I wish my other drone was like this. The drone has folding propeller arms as well as a folding base. Very compact! You can easily pack this in your suitcase, take it on trips, etc. The X900 features headless mode. If you're not familiar with drones, headless mode means that no matter where your drone’s front side is pointing, pressing left on the transmitter will always make the drone go left in your current point of view. Pressing right will make the drone go to the right, etc. It makes flying the drone easy - especially for the beginner. The 1-button hover feature works great! It's a feature that's pretty standard on drones costing much more. Smaller drones can be difficult to handle, if you are not properly trained. The 1-button hover feature is definitely a plus! The camera is decent too. It doesn't have a gimbal. But, for the price you pay, you wouldn't expect it to. That being said, the video and photos I've taken look clear and pretty good. I love having the camera on the drone. It's fun to not only see where you're flying, but to see it as if you were piloting from inside the craft. I experienced flying time of about 10 minutes (right in line with the company's specs). I would definitely keep the drone less than 250-300 feet from where you are to avoid fly-aways.
In closing, I can definitely say this drone is worth the money! When you get the drone, unbox it, read all the instructions, become familiar with everything on your drone, charge your drone and controller. Then, have fun!
