Description
The A+++ dryer uses particularly little energy regardless of the program - dry more in less time.
The lint-free condenser dryer works most efficiently and therefore saves energy. That's why Siemens has developed the Blue-Therm, a model that rinses itself several times during the drying process with the water released from the laundry. The user no longer has to clean the filters by hand and the dryer is lint-free with every cycle. No contamination can affect the work of the Blue-Therm and less energy is needed to dry the laundry. In order to get seven kilograms of cotton, which were previously spun at 1400 rpm, cupboard dry, the new Siemens dryer requires 1.35 kWh of electricity and 112 minutes of time. In the label program, i. e. spun in advance at 1000 rpm, it needs 1.60 kWh for the same result with a program duration of 131 minutes. This results in 0.23 kWh/kg, which is a good 50 percent below the limit value of energy efficiency class A set at 0.48 kWh/kg. Compared to a condensation dryer with energy efficiency class B, the Blue-Therm uses less than half the electricity. This makes it an economical household appliance.
