Job Overview:
As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at Crumble's cookie production and retail branches. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff during your shifts, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and supervise daily operations during the assigned shift.
-Oversee staff activities, ensuring high standards of performance, productivity, and quality.
-Handle the shift handover process, ensuring smooth transitions and no operational disruptions.
-Train and mentor staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
-Ensure inventory control, stock management, and proper handling of products during your shift.
-Maintain cleanliness and safety protocols in line with health and safety regulations.
-Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
-Assist with staff scheduling and ensuring adequate coverage during busy hours.
-Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
-Monitor and achieve performance metrics, including customer satisfaction and sales targets.
-Support team members in troubleshooting any operational issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Minimum 1-2 years of experience in shift management within the food industry.
-Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage team dynamics effectively.
-Proficient in basic computer operations (POS systems, inventory management software, etc. ).
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-A passion for customer service and high-quality food products.
-Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
