We are looking for a *high-caliber Senior Shopify Developer & E-Commerce Technical Lead* to develop, launch and continuously manage a large-scale Shopify e-commerce platform.
*This is NOT a regular Shopify job, basic theme customization role, or one-time website project. * We need a technically strong person who can take long-term ownership of the platform, understand business requirements, recommend the right architecture, develop custom solutions and manage future integrations and expansion.
### Key Requirements
The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in:
* *Premium/custom UI/UX* and professional mobile-first responsive Shopify development
* Homepage banners, sliders, promotional/campaign sections and dynamic content
* *Advanced product/category architecture* designed to scale to 20,000+ products
* Mega menus, advanced/predictive search, filters, sorting and product navigation
* Product variants, attributes, metafields, metaobjects and structured product data
* *Cross-selling, upselling, bundles, related products and product recommendations*
* Full *English/Arabic bilingual development with proper RTL support*
* Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and custom development
* *Shopify APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks and ERP/software integrations*
* Inventory, pricing, product, order and fulfillment synchronization
* *Dropshipping, Print-on-Demand (POD), Production-on-Demand and multi-supplier workflows*
* Own-stock + supplier-stock and split/multiple fulfillment models
* Payment gateway, shipping, VAT and Saudi e-commerce requirements
* Technical/on-page *SEO and scalable SEO architecture*
* *High website speed, Core Web Vitals and performance optimization*
* Google Analytics/GA4, Google Merchant Center, Meta Pixel and marketing/conversion tracking
* Clean, modular and maintainable code with *minimum dependency on unnecessary third-party apps*
* Git/version control, testing, troubleshooting, security and technical documentation
The platform must be *API/integration-ready and scalable for future multi-country expansion*, additional suppliers, marketplaces, ERP/accounting/inventory systems and automation.
The candidate should understand when functionality should be *custom-coded versus handled through Shopify apps, APIs, ERP or middleware*. We do not want a store overloaded with apps that becomes slow, difficult to maintain or expensive to operate.
### Important
We are *NOT looking for someone whose experience is mainly buying Shopify themes, installing apps and changing banners/colors. *
We need a *senior technical resource combining strong Shopify development, UI/UX understanding, custom coding, API/ERP integration experience, automation and e-commerce architecture*.
This is intended to be a *long-term technical ownership role*. After development and launch, the selected person will continue managing the platform, integrations, performance, troubleshooting, enhancements and future development.
