Description
Responsibilities:
* Sales Prospecting: Identify and research potential clients in the transportation and logistics industry, including trucking companies, freight brokers, and shippers.
* Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging online platforms.
* Carrier Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective carriers through regular communication.
* Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with carriers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements that meet their needs while maximizing profitability for our company.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
* Proven track record of success in sales/call center, preferably in trucking industry.
* Strong sales acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively close deals and meet or exceed sales targets.
* Proficiency in using FMCA and safer websites to manage leads, track sales activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous sales experience in truck dispatching.
* Familiarity with US transportation industry regulations and best practices.
