Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team at [Company Name] located in Gulpalaza, Karachi Saddar. The Sales Assistant will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting the overall functioning of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing product information, recommendations, and assistance with purchasing decisions.
2. Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, effectively upselling and cross-selling products to enhance their shopping experience.
3. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
4. Maintain a tidy and organized sales floor, restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service consistently.
6. Utilize web-based software and POS systems effectively to process sales and manage inventory.
7. Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and communicating inventory needs to the manager.
8. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently, resolving issues to the satisfaction of the customer and in line with company policies.
9. Contribute to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the store, fostering customer loyalty and repeat business.
10. Assist the manager with administrative tasks as needed, including record-keeping, scheduling, and maintaining customer databases.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a similar environment.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
5. Familiarity with POS systems and web-based software for sales processing and inventory management.
6. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
7. Age between 23-35 years.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or retail management is a plus.
