Key Responsibilities:
1. Dispatching: Efficiently dispatch trucks, ensuring on-time delivery and pickups while optimizing routes and schedules.
2. Route Planning: Plan and adapt routes considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and delivery windows.
3. Load Coordination: Ensure proper load distribution, weight limits, and securement of cargo to meet safety regulations.
4. Communication: Maintain effective communication with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders.
5. Compliance: Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, including hours of service, permits, and licensing.
6. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing issues, and resolving concerns promptly.
7. Loads Tracking.
8. Problem Solving: Resolve issues that arise during transit, such as breakdowns, detours, or delays.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and ensure paperwork is complete and filed properly.
10. Efficiency: Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the dispatching process.
11. Team Collaboration: Work closely with drivers, maintenance personnel, and other staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Strong Work ethics and professionalism are required.
• 6 monthsof experience as a Truck Dispatcher in the USA.
• Strong knowledge of DAT, DOT regulations, other loadboards, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and schedules.
• Strong customer service orientation.
