Description
Pacific Enterprises is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our project delivery team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction, renovation, and interior fit-out projects — including bank branch fit-outs — and will be responsible for site measurements, BOQ preparation, and invoicing/billing across multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities
Take accurate site measurements and prepare/verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for civil, electrical, carpentry, glass, marble, plumbing, and ceiling works.
Prepare, review, and reconcile vendor and contractor invoices against completed work and agreed rates.
Maintain and update expense tracking sheets (Excel/PDF) across active projects.
Coordinate with trade contractors and vendors to verify quantities, rates, and deliverables on site.
Cross-check BOQs and invoices against architectural/electrical drawings for accuracy.
Support cost estimation and budgeting for renovation, construction, and interior fit-out projects.
Assist in preparing completion/handover documentation and reconciling final accounts with clients.
Track payments made to vendors and contractors, flagging discrepancies or outstanding deliverables.
Ensure documentation is audit-ready, especially for corporate/bank client projects with strict compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, renovation, or interior fit-out projects.
Prior experience with bank branch or corporate commercial fit-outs strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and measurement techniques.
Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, tracking sheets); familiarity with AutoCAD or drawing interpretation is a plus.
Understanding of multiple trades: civil, electrical, carpentry, glass, marble, plumbing, and ceiling works.
Good communication skills — able to coordinate with site staff, contractors, and management.
Bilingual (Urdu/English) communication preferred for field-level coordination.
Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy, especially for high-volume, multi-vendor projects.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Relevant certification in Quantity Surveying (preferred, not mandatory).
