Description
The Zynq Z1 (Zybo Z7-10) is a high-performance and flexible development board built around the Xilinx Zynq-7000 Z-7010 SoC, which integrates a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with Artix-7 FPGA fabric.
It’s designed for embedded systems, digital signal processing (DSP), and hardware/software co-design, making it perfect for academic, prototyping, and research projects.
The board includes 1GB DDR3L RAM, HDMI and VGA video outputs, onboard audio codec, Gigabit Ethernet, and multiple user I/O interfaces such as buttons, switches, and LEDs.
With support for PMODs, Arduino-compatible shields, and Xilinx tools like Vivado, Vitis, and PetaLinux, the Zynq Z1 provides a powerful platform for custom embedded development, Linux-based systems, and real-time applications.
