Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing technical items from local and international suppliers, handling procurement-related documentation, preparing tenders, and supporting small administrative tasks. This role requires strong coordination skills, technical understanding, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source engineering and industrial items from local and overseas suppliers
• Identify suitable OEMs, manufacturers, and vendors based on technical requirements
• Prepare and review RFQs, quotations, and comparative statements
• Prepare and compile tender documents as per client requirements
• Handle procurement and sourcing documentation (datasheets, compliance, certifications, etc. )
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, lead times, and technical clarifications
• Support small administrative and coordination tasks related to procurement projects
• Maintain proper records of sourcing activities and supplier data
• Provide regular updates on assigned sourcing and tender activities
Job Requirements:
• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
• 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or tendering (preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and engineering documents
• Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and good documentation skills
• Applicants residing close to Wah cantt would be preferred.
