How to Use a TV/Monitor Wall Mount:

  1. Check the Wall Type:
    • Ensure the wall where you plan to install the mount can support the weight of your monitor or TV.
    • Drywall may require additional anchors or screws into studs. Brick or concrete walls may need special masonry screws.
  2. Assemble the Mount:
    • Follow the instructions provided with the mount to assemble it. Usually, it involves attaching the arm mechanism and ensuring the screws and bolts are tightened.
  3. Locate the Wall Studs (if needed):
    • Use a stud finder to locate wall studs for mounting. Studs offer the strongest support.
    • Mark the locations for where you’ll screw the mount.
  4. Attach the Mount to the Wall:
    • Drill holes in the wall where the mount will be placed.
    • Use the provided screws and bolts to secure the mount to the wall, ensuring it’s level.
  5. Prepare the TV/Monitor:
    • Attach the mounting bracket to the back of your TV or monitor.
    • Make sure the bracket aligns with the VESA pattern on your screen (the four holes on the back of the monitor or TV).
  6. Mount the TV/Monitor:
    • Lift the TV or monitor and attach it to the mounted arm.
    • Double-check that it’s securely latched onto the mount and can swivel or tilt as desired.
  7. Cable Management:
    • Use the built-in cable management system (as seen in the image) to guide the cables neatly.
    • Ensure cables have enough slack for full movement of the monitor arm.
  8. Test the Adjustments:
    • Adjust the position of the arm mount to your desired angle and distance from the wall.
    • Ensure the monitor or TV is stable and secure at every position.
