Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Conduct vulnerability scanning and security assessment for internal information systems, websites and servers. Proactively identify security vulnerabilities at Web, host and application layers, and produce vulnerability assessment reports.
2. Verify and risk-rank discovered vulnerabilities, formulate vulnerability remediation plans, guide development and operation teams to implement fixes, perform re-testing and close the whole vulnerability management lifecycle.
3. Carry out penetration testing to uncover common security flaws including SQL injection, XSS, file upload vulnerabilities and privilege escalation, and track vulnerabilities throughout their lifecycle.
4. Participate in the investigation of security incidents and assist in handling risks caused by vulnerabilities.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in security testing or vulnerability assessment.
2. Familiar with TCP/IP protocol suite; proficient in vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, AWVS and Xray. Have in-depth understanding of principles of common Web vulnerabilities and be capable of independent vulnerability verification.
3. Able to write vulnerability remediation recommendations, guide business teams to fix vulnerabilities and complete re-verification.
4. Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems; have basic understanding of network architecture.
5. Skilled at writing professional security documents such as vulnerability reports; possess strong logical analysis skills and teamwork awareness.
6. Hold certificates such as CISP, CEH, HCIA Security or CCNP Security is preferred.
