Description
Provide primary medical care to patients in OPD and emergency settings.
Examine, diagnose, and treat patients according to clinical guidelines and protocols.
Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans safely and effectively.
Handle medical emergencies and provide first aid and life-saving procedures when required.
Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab tests, X-rays, ECG, etc. ).
Refer patients to specialists when advanced care is required.
Ensure infection control practices and hospital safety standards are followed.
Participate in ward rounds and patient follow-up.
Supervise nursing and paramedical staff in patient care activities.
Provide health education and counseling to patients and their families.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and legal regulations.
Assist in public health programs, vaccination drives, and awareness campaigns.
Prepare medical reports, fitness certificates, and medico-legal documentation.
Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for patient care.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient dealings.
Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and professional development.
