Description
We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to lead the physical development of our next generation of products. You won’t just be making boxes for boards; you will be designing sleek, ergonomic, and manufacturable enclosures for devices where every 0.1mm counts.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptual Design: Develop 3D concepts and industrial designs for consumer electronics, focusing on aesthetics and ergonomics.
Detailed Engineering: Create high-fidelity 3D models in SolidWorks , ensuring seamless integration with PCBs and internal components.
Miniaturization: Design for extremely tight tolerances (e. g. , wearable rings )
DFM/DFA: Prepare designs for high-volume production, specifically Injection Molding, Die Casting, and CNC machining.
Prototyping: Manage 3D printing (SLA/FDM) and functional prototyping to validate form, fit, and assembly.
Thermal & Structural Analysis: Perform basic simulations to ensure device durability and heat dissipation.
Requirements
Experience: min. 1 year in mechanical design, specifically for consumer electronics or handheld devices.
Software: Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks and Ansys.
Rapid Prototyping: Knowledge of 3d printing and rapid prototyping
Materials Knowledge: Deep understanding of plastics (ABS, PC, TPU), resins, and metals used in consumer tech.
