It's a high-tech, high-performance commuting machine from a leading American brand. Founded in Marin County, California, MARIN has been at the forefront of the mountain and urban bike revolution - a part of the San Francisco lifestyle and culture - for over four decades. The PRESIDIO 3 is MARIN's ultimate urban commuter designed for simplicity, reliablity and speed. It features an 8-Speed Shimano Nexus Internal Gear Hub mated with a Gates Carbon Drive. This system uses a BELT instead of a chain and a smooth internal GEARBOX instead of clunky derailleurs and cogs. It is a maintenance-free drivetrain - you never have to clean or oil it and it never gets stuck. The belt is 3 to 4 times more durable and lasts 15-20,000 km vs 5-6,000 for a chain. Manufactured at aviation-grade reliability, Gates belts and cranks are simply the highest quality. You have to see this entire drivetrain in action to believe how beautiful, smooth, robust and reliable it is.
The tyres are made by Schwalbe, the top brand for bicycle tyres. They are virtually puncture-proof and offer the optimum combination of grip and speed. The brakes are Shimano Hydraulic U300, providing incredibly precise, smooth and responsive stopping power. Similarly, the seat and all the other componentry is high-end.
The size is SMALL - for rider heights from 5'2" to 5'8". Not appropriate for taller or shorter riders.

Please also note on that page the price of USD 1,099 which converts to about PKR 300,000. Transportation to Pakistan and custom costs are over PKR 150,000.
Therefore, the listed price of PKR 215,000 is THE FINAL PRICE. It was purchased in New Zealand in February 2024 and has been ridden less than 1,000 km. The two water bottles and bottle cages are included for free. Please DO NOT CALL if you intend to use words like "final or "less. " As soon as you use such words, you will notice that the line is dead. Please do not waste your own time and mine. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
PS: The original pedals that came with the bike are made of nylon. I prefer aluminium pedals and therefore installed my favourite set from an older bicycle. These are very high-quality pedals but they are well-used. If you prefer to have the brand-new nylon pedals that came with the bike, I can get them for you in December when I return again from New Zealand. You can use these pedals in the meantime and we'll swap the sets when I bring you the new one.
