The IBM Flex System x240 Compute Node is a high-density, hot-swappable 2-socket server designed for the Flex System chassis, supporting Intel Xeon E5-2600/v2 processors (up to 12 cores), 24 DIMM slots for up to 768GB DDR3 RAM, and two 2.5-inch SAS/SATA/SSD bays. It features dual-port 10GbE networking and integrated management tools (iMMv2).
