Hydrostatic Pressure Testing (Hydro Testing) is a pressure testing method used to verify the strength, integrity, and leak-tightness of pressure-containing equipment, piping systems, vessels, tanks, and other components. The test is generally performed by filling the equipment with water or another suitable incompressible liquid and applying a specified test pressure for a defined period.
