Position: Import Manager
Location: Saggian Bypass, Lahore, Pakistan
Salary Range: PKR 40,000 – PKR 60,000 per month
Job Details (Responsibilities)
1. End-to-End Import Process Management: Manage the entire lifestyle of import operations, tracking international shipments from factory to arrival.
2. Customs Clearance & Compliance: Coordinate directly with customs agents and ensure error-free documentation processing utilizing WebOC.
3. Relationship & Vendor Management: Direct relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and local logistics suppliers to streamline delivery.
4. Cost Optimization: Track process inefficiencies, minimize port delays/demurrage fees, and maximize absolute cost efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an Import Manager or within a similar logistics role.
• In-depth practical knowledge of trade rules, regulations, and custom procedures.
• Experience with international shipping protocols and customs documentation management.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills and vendor tracking competence.
