Job Summary:
Tandoori Hut is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Computer Operator to manage billing operations, order entries, sales records, and daily computer-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have basic computer knowledge, good typing speed, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities:
* Generate customer bills and invoices accurately.
* Enter dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders into the system.
* Maintain daily sales and billing records.
* Prepare end-of-day sales reports.
* Handle POS (Point of Sale) software and cash counter operations.
* Maintain customer and order databases.
* Coordinate with kitchen and service staff regarding orders.
* Perform basic administrative and computer-related tasks as assigned.
* Ensure accuracy of billing and report any discrepancies immediately.
Requirements:
* Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet, Email).
* Experience with POS software is an advantage.
* Good typing speed and data entry skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Previous restaurant or retail billing experience will be preferred.
