Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing daily front-of-house operations, guest service excellence, staff discipline, cash register oversight, and floor hygiene. Serves as the key operational link between executive leadership, kitchen, and guests to ensure seamless shift execution.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OPERATIONAL DUTIES
• Oversee shift opening/closing operations, staff attendance, grooming, and table allocation for Team A/B.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by greeting guests, managing peak-hour waiting lines, and handling complaints professionally.
• Coordinate closely with the Head Chef to ensure food preparation times, order accuracy, and service speed standards.
• Supervise Cashiers, Guest Hosting Officers, Servers, and Cleaners; enforce strict QMS hygiene and service protocols.
• Conduct daily cash drawer reconciliation, billing audits, and shift sales reporting to management.
• Assume full operational leadership of opposite shift or floor activities in the absence of the alternate manager.
3. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality / Restaurant Management.
• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven floor management experience in high-volume casual or fine-dining cafes/restaurants.
• Skills: Strong leadership, floor coordination, customer service excellence, dispute resolution, and POS software proficiency.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
4. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) & QMS BENCHMARKS
• Table turnover rate & average guest wait time (< 15 mins).
• Zero unhandled customer complaints on shift.
• 100% compliance with daily shift closing cash reconciliation and audit reports.
