Description
FancyTech Origin 65A (also known as Finalkey Origin 65A) for sale.
A 65% compact custom mechanical keyboard kit featuring a CNC-machined acrylic case, produced around 2022 and currently discontinued.
Layout: 65% compact layout w/ a rotary encoder.
Case Material: CNC-machined frosted acrylic case.
Mounting Style: Gasket-mounted on a POM plate with flex-cuts for softer, bouncier typing feel. Includes a switch plate foam and pcb/plate sandwich foam for better isolation, sound & feel!
Connectivity: Wired connection via a USB Type-C daughterboard.
PCB & Software: South-facing RGB hotswap PCB with support for QMK and VIA, however the provided keyboard shortcuts offer on-the-go customization!
Included Accessories: 2 CNC aluminum knobs for the rotary encoder (Rose Gold as shown and silver), extra screws, compact screw driver and keycap puller.
Expert Modifications: Durock Clear Screw-In Stabilizers (V2) that have been Holi Modded and lubed are included in the package (Originally a barebones kit).
Looking to sell either as a barebones kit (with premium aftermarket modded stabilizers), as well as the whole built keyboard as is.
Barebone Kit comes with the acrylic case, hotswap PCB, POM plate, knobs, stabilizers and box.
The keyboard built as shown has a cherry clone of GMK Botanical Desert 2 set which I am throwing in at no cost, as well as the now discontinued but highly sought after Akko Jelly Black switches (heavy linears) that have been modded with Krytox GPL105 and Krytox GPL-205 G0 by my own hands. I have been an avid collector of keyboards since around 2018 and have amassed a massive collection of premium group-buy as well as budget keyboards.
