Job Purpose
To prepare hygienic, nutritious, and timely meals for approximately 400 employees, ensuring food quality, safety standards, and efficient kitchen operations while maintaining cleanliness and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
-Meal Preparation
Prepare two daily meals (Lunch & Dinner/Evening Meal) for company staff.
Plan cooking activities according to approved menu and employee headcount.
Ensure food is prepared in sufficient quantity without wastage.
Maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation standards.
-Kitchen Operations
Supervise food preparation helpers and kitchen assistants.
Ensure proper food storage, handling, and temperature control.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Follow daily kitchen opening and closing procedures.
-Hygiene & Safety
Ensure compliance with food hygiene and sanitation standards.
Maintain personal hygiene and proper food handling practices.
Monitor expiry dates and safe usage of ingredients.
Follow workplace health & safety guidelines.
-Inventory & Coordination
Coordinate with Admin/Store for grocery and kitchen supplies.
Monitor stock levels and submit timely requisitions.
Minimize food wastage and manage portion control.
Assist in menu planning and improvement suggestions.
