Description
Job Title: Early/Mid-Level Security Engineer (Remote – US Hours)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote
Salary Range: PKR 120,000 – 150,000/month
Work Hours: Must be available to work US time zone hours
About the Role
We're looking for an early/mid-level Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture across vulnerability management, monitoring, and endpoint defense. This is a hands-on role for someone building their career in security who understands core fundamentals and can operate independently while working aligned to US business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Manage vulnerability scanning, triage, and remediation tracking across the environment
Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools; investigate and escalate as needed
Administer and tune Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools to detect and respond to threats
Support incident response efforts and document findings
Collaborate with US-based IT and engineering teams to close security gaps
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT security role
Solid understanding of core security concepts (threat detection, vulnerability lifecycle, endpoint security)
Exposure to SIEM tools (e. g. , Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or similar)
Familiarity with EDR platforms (e. g. , CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender)
Strong written and verbal communication skills — will be working closely with a US team
Must be able to work US time zone hours (please specify which shift: EST/CST/MST/PST)
Reliable internet connection required for remote monitoring work
Nice to Have
Relevant certifications (Security+, CySA+Ccna, etc. )
Scripting/automation experience (Python, PowerShell)
