Description
A Computer Teacher is responsible for providing quality computer education to students and helping them develop essential digital skills for academic and practical life. The teacher ensures that students understand both theoretical concepts and practical applications of computer technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach basic computer concepts including hardware and software.
Provide practical training in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Guide students on safe and responsible use of the internet.
Introduce basic programming skills (such as Scratch or introductory coding).
Supervise and maintain the computer lab.
Assign projects and homework, and assess students’ performance.
Prepare students for examinations and manage grading.
Promote digital ethics and online safety awareness among students.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, BCS, BS (IT), or a related field.
Practical knowledge of computer applications and IT systems.
Strong teaching and communication skills.
