Job Title: Computer Hardware and Software Technician
*Key Responsibilities*
* Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
* Diagnose and repair hardware faults, including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and peripherals.
* Install, configure, and update operating systems and application software.
* Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network-related issues.
* Perform system upgrades, data backup, and data recovery when required.
* Install and maintain antivirus software and ensure system security.
* Configure and support LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
* Maintain IT inventory and keep records of hardware and software assets.
* Provide technical support and training to end users.
* Coordinate with vendors and service providers for warranty claims and equipment repairs.
* Ensure preventive maintenance of all IT equipment and systems.
* Prepare technical reports and documentation related to IT operations.
*Required Qualifications*
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in computer hardware and software support.
* Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with computer assembly, maintenance, and peripheral devices.
