Description
- Monitor public and private procurement portals and commercial networks to identify current and upcoming civil and commercial construction projects suitable for bidding.
- Conduct thorough bid/no-bid analyses by examining tender documentation, technical specifications, blueprints, and eligibility criteria to evaluate risk and recommend strategic bidding decisions.
- Lead the coordination of various departments including Estimation, Project Management, and Finance to assemble comprehensive technical and financial bid proposals.
Develop and maintain compliance frameworks ensuring that all bids adhere strictly to client guidelines, bonding requirements, and technical standards.
- Draft, review, and manage the execution of various contract types including prime contracts, subcontracts, joint venture agreements, and vendor purchase orders.
- Negotiate contract terms, conditions, payment schedules, and liabilities to minimize commercial risks and safeguard project profitability.
- Act as the primary liaison between Genesis Construction & Developers, clients, subcontractors, and legal teams throughout contract formation and management processes.
- Collaborate closely with the cost estimation team to evaluate labor, materials, equipment costs, and production schedules ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing strategies.
- Analyze bonding, surety, prevailing wage clauses, and insurance certificates to ensure all projects comply with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, track project change orders, and provide actionable guidance to resolve disputes or breaches before escalation.
- Manage and lead a team of 20 bidding and contract administration personnel, providing direction, training, and performance management to optimize team effectiveness and project outcomes.
