JOB VACANCY – CASHIER / STORE ASSISTANT
Location: Saddar Cantt, Lahore
Company: Al-Taqadum Mega Mart
We are looking for a responsible, hardworking, and experienced Cashier / Store Assistant to join our newly starting Mega Mart.
Job Responsibilities
Operate IPOS/POS software for billing and cash handling.
Handle daily cash transactions and maintain accurate billing records.
Perform data entry and maintain sales records.
Assist with stock management, including stock entry, checking inventory, and updating records.
Help maintain accurate product and pricing information in the system.
Assist with general store operations when required.
Maintain honesty, punctuality, and professionalism at all times.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience working with IPOS software is required.
Previous experience as a cashier in a supermarket, mart, grocery store, or retail business preferred.
Basic computer and data-entry skills.
Good understanding of cash handling and billing.
Responsible and trustworthy.
Willing to learn and take responsibility for additional store-related tasks.
We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position. Temporary workers or short-term applicants are not preferred.
Working Hours & Benefits
Initial working hours: 12 hours per day
Additional 3 hours will be paid as overtime.
1 meal + 1 tea provided by the company every working day.
Salary increase after 6 months, subject to performance review.
