A set square (or triangle) is a flat, triangular tool made of transparent plastic, wood, or metal used in geometry, engineering, and technical drawing to draw and verify precise angles.
Set squares come in a pair of two right-angled triangles:
• 45-45-90° Set Square: An isosceles right triangle with angles of 45°, 45°, and 90°.
• 30-60-90° Set Square: A scalene right triangle with angles of 30°, 60°, and 90°.
• Adjustable Set Square (Less Common): A hinged variation that can be set to any custom angle up to 180°.
