Job Description
We are seeking a highly responsible, experienced, and professional Restaurant Manager to oversee the complete operations of our restaurant in Clifton, Karachi.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and proven experience in restaurant management, staff supervision, customer service, inventory control, and financial management. The candidate must be capable of running the restaurant efficiently, maintaining high standards, and ensuring profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations: Manage and supervise all daily restaurant activities.
Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise chefs, kitchen staff, waiters, and other employees.
Kitchen Control: Coordinate with the head chef to maintain food quality, taste, hygiene, and consistency.
Financial Management: Monitor sales, expenses, food costs, payroll, and overall profitability.
Inventory Management: Control stock, purchasing, wastage, and supplier coordination.
Customer Service: Handle customer complaints professionally and maintain customer satisfaction.
Cash & POS Management: Monitor daily sales, cash handling, billing, and end-of-day reports.
Hygiene & Compliance: Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with applicable regulations.
Performance Monitoring: Prepare daily and monthly reports and identify opportunities to improve business performance.
Business Growth: Improve service quality, operational efficiency, and restaurant revenue.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager, or in a similar leadership position.
Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and staff management.
Experience managing kitchen teams, front-of-house staff, and suppliers.
Good understanding of food costs, inventory, budgeting, and sales reporting.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for restaurant performance.
Experience with POS systems and restaurant reporting is preferred.
Experience in Pakistani cuisine restaurants is an advantage.
