Description
Evaporative Air Cooler*
This is NOT an air conditioner and NOT a fan. It's a classic Pakistani-made *Room Air Cooler*, very popular in the 1980s / 1990s.
*1. Identification:*
- *Brand:* SUPER / altlas
- *Color:* Off-white / Cream color.
*2. Features Visible in Video:*
- *Front Grill:* Large horizontal grill for air throw.
- *Top Control Panel:*
- Left Knob = Motor Speed Control (Low / Medium / High)
- Right Knob = Water Pump ON/OFF
- Two Orange Indicator Lights = Shows both motor and pump are ON
- *Base:* It has a wide pedestal stand which is also its water storage tank. The blue sticker on it is the model / brand sticker.
- *Side Vents:* On the sides you can see air intake vents where the cooling pads are.
*3. How it Works:*
This is an Evaporative Cooler. It doesn't use gas like an AC.
- You fill water in the bottom tank.
- The small water pump (controlled by right knob) lifts water and wets the grass / honeycomb pads on three sides.
- The main fan (controlled by left knob) pulls hot air through the wet pads and throws cool, humid air from the front grill.
*4. Condition:*
From the video and sound, the unit is running. Both lights are on, which means the pump and motor are working.
It's a very strong and durable old model. Its parts like pump, motor, and cooling pads are still easily available in any local vary slightly used
