Job Description: AI & Tech Mentor, THS Tech Labs
Organization: Taleem-o-Hunar Society (THS), Lake City Meadows (near DHA-IV), Lahore Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Reports To: Managing Director (MD)
Job Type: Part-Time (4 hours a day, 6 days a week, Friday 3 hrs)
Monday to Thursday, and Saturday: 4 PM to 8 PM
Friday: 3 to 6 PM

Our latest initiative is a comprehensive training program designed to teach students how to start earning online and support their families. To achieve this, we have partnered with a leading tech training company, but our true success lies in the continuous, day-to-day grooming and support of our students.
Role Overview We are seeking an energetic, patient, and highly motivated AI & Tech Mentor to oversee our student lab. Our students come from underserved backgrounds with limited academic and English exposure, meaning they require extensive mentoring. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our external training partners and our students. You will attend the expert-led training sessions (4 hours a week), quickly grasp the concepts being taught, and then spend the remainder of the week breaking down, translating, and reinforcing these concepts for the students in our lab. You will also fulfill the crucial role of the "Surveillance Teacher," ensuring the lab environment is disciplined, productive, and focused on learning.
Key Responsibilities Academic & Technical Support
• Shadow external instructors during their scheduled training sessions to master the weekly curriculum.
• Assist students with practical, hands-on concepts in emerging fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Freelancing Skills, and Agentic AI Development.
• Translate complex technical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language for matriculate and intermediate students.
• Guide students through their assignments, practical applications, and the complete cycle of setting up online freelancing profiles. Student Grooming & Mentorship
• Conduct daily communication and English language grooming sessions to build students' confidence for the global online market.
• Teach fundamental computer literacy and keyboarding skills to students who have no prior exposure to IT.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and highly disciplined environment to keep students motivated over the 6-month program. Lab Supervision & Administration
• Act as the designated Surveillance Teacher on students during all lab hours to ensure focus and proper use of the facilities.
• Manage daily student attendance, lab administration, and coordinate routine communications.
• Ensure all computer equipment and infrastructure provided by Taleem-o-Hunar Society are utilized properly and maintained.
• Report directly to the Managing Director (MD) on student progress, challenges, and overall lab performance. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software, or a related field. 16 years of education
• Technical Aptitude: A fast learner with a strong baseline understanding of modern IT trends, AI tools, and the online freelancing ecosystem (Fiverr, Upwork, etc. ).
• Communication: Strong English reading and writing skills, with the ability to fluently explain concepts in Urdu/Punjabi to connect with the students.
• Soft Skills: Exceptionally high patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for community development and teaching
