The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments and collections, proper documentation, and compliance with applicable financial and tax requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting and financial transactions of the company.
Maintain accurate records of cash, bank, receivables, payables, expenses, and income.
Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, payment records, receipts, and supporting documents.
Monitor company bank accounts, deposits, withdrawals, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Prepare and process supplier/vendor payments and maintain payment schedules.
Verify bills, invoices, purchase documents, and expense claims before processing payments.
Maintain proper records of employee salaries, advances, deductions, and other payroll-related matters.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, clients, suppliers, and relevant government departments when required.
Assist in preparation and submission of tax returns, withholding tax statements, and other statutory requirements.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable tax and financial regulations.
Monitor project-wise expenses, costs, and financial commitments.
Prepare cash-flow statements and financial forecasts for management review.
Support management in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial and company information.
Supervise junior accounts staff and ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks.
Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Good command of MS Excel and accounting software.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
