Job Summary:
As an Accountant at Zero Healthcare, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions. You will work closely with the finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations, analyze financial data, and provide insights that contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Expense Management: Review and reconcile company expenses, ensuring that all transactions comply with company policies.
4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file various tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
5. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile monthly bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
6. Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
7. Financial Software: Utilize financial software and tools to streamline accounting processes and increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or ACCA.
CPA certification is preferred.
2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or retail environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
