Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Account Assistant/Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should at least possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) and have a minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in a single organization.
Responsibilities:
• Handle daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and expense bookings.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with import working and documentation, including documentation for the opening of L/C, contracts, costing of imported materials, etc.
• File monthly sales tax returns and prepare sales tax challans.
• File quarterly withholding statements and prepare withholding challans.
• Maintain accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
• Manage accounts receivable, including tracking and following up on outstanding invoices.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of stock, sales, purchases, and production records.
• Any other related tasks.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B. Com) or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in a single organization as an Account Assistant/Accountant.
• Strong understanding of daily accounting transactions and financial processes.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
