Description
A 100A (Ampere) controller can handle a maximum current of 100 amps coming from the solar panels. This type of controller is suitable for medium to large setups where multiple solar panels are connected together.
Some of the basic features include:
12V / 24V Auto Detection
The controller automatically detects if the battery is 12V or 24V and adjusts itself accordingly.
PWM Charging Mode
It uses Pulse Width Modulation to slowly reduce the charging current as the battery gets full. This prevents overcharging and increases battery life.
Multiple Protection Features
Overload, overcharge, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection are built-in.
LCD Display (Optional)
Some controllers come with an LCD screen that shows important data like battery voltage, charge current, and load status.
Load Terminals
You can connect lights or small DC appliances directly to the controller’s output.
USB Output Ports
Many controllers include 5V USB ports for charging mobile phones or other USB devices.
