Description
A huller machine (also called a husker or dehusker) is an agricultural processing device used to remove the protective outer husk, shell, or chaff from grains, seeds, or nuts. Its primary purpose is to separate the inedible outer layer from the edible inner kernel without damaging the food inside.
While it is most famously used in the rice industry to turn raw paddy into brown rice, huller machines are also designed to process coffee, oats, sunflower seeds, millet, and various nuts.
