Suzuki Mehran, Pakistan most favourite economical car!

Suzuki launched the first generation Alto back in 1979. Being a part of 'kei' cars, the Alto was supposed to provide greater fuel economy and a low retail price.The first-gen Alto, or the Suzuki FX in Pakistan, was replaced by the second-gen Alto (or Mehran) in 1989. Pak Suzuki relaunched the second generation Suzuki Alto as the Mehran and it quickly became a top selling model.

The car is equipped with a 3 cylinder 796cc Euro II EFi Engine which gives this car better fuel economy and mileage and a 4 Gear Manual transmission. When speaking of Fuel, it comes with a 30 L fuel tank and the fuel consumption ranges between 18 to 20 km/l (Highway) and 15 km/l (City). A CNG upgrade is available adding a 40 L tank. Finally the car is available in five different colours: Pearl Red, Graphite Gray, Solid White, Silky Silver and Sand Beige.

There are only 2 versions available; Mehran VX and Mehran VXR, being the VXR the fully equipped model. When it comes to equipment both versions share the same spacious and comfortable cabin with molded roof, heater and air Conditioner (VXR model only). In the interior both have a USB/AUX Radio Player, Foldable mirrors and Assist grip. Exterior havewith Coloured front & rear bumper, Full Wheel cover (VXR) and dynamic headlights. Last but not least; Safety Security Child Lock, Steering Lock and Immobilizer.

The 2019 version of the Mehran VXR (w/ Immobilizer) is currently 923,000 and 839,000 for the Mehran VX (w/ Immobilizer), but don't worry in OLX you can find your next used Mehran!
